Brief Role:
position reports to director Financial Management and aims at ensuring that the capital assets of the company are properly recognized, measured and controlled.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assist the Department Heads to review and develop Annual Capital Budget in line with the business strategy
• Ensure that all capital assets, whether purchased or self constricted are recorded in the asset register properly
• Monitor and capitalize work in progress
• Physical verification and inventorization of assets
• Periodic calculation of depreciation and correct allocation of changes

Skills:
|
Qualifications and Experience:
• 6-10 years of progressive experience in an Accounting Department handling assets
• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance
• Background in Engineering would be an advantage
• Experience in Oracle or equivalent systems
Compensation offered
